TDK rolls out compact DC-DC modules for industrial and chip equipment

April 30, 2026 /SemiMedia/ — TDK Corporation has introduced its CCGS series of isolated DC-DC converters, targeting industrial systems and semiconductor equipment with a compact, all-in-one design.

The new modules, available in 15 W and 30 W versions, do not require external components, helping engineers reduce circuit design work and save board space. The design is based on TDK-Lambda’s existing CCG platform, which has been widely used in the field.

The CCGS series supports common output voltages including 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V and 15 V, along with dual output options. Input ranges cover 9–36 V and 18–76 V, making the modules suitable for a wide range of industrial power systems.

To simplify installation, the modules come in both chassis mount and DIN-rail options. A compact size and simple terminal design help reduce wiring errors and speed up assembly. Some versions also support push-on connectors for easier setup.

The converters include adjustable output voltage, status indication and remote on/off control, allowing better power management at system level. Efficiency is typically between 84% and 87%, with operation supported from -20°C to 70°C using natural cooling.

The series meets IEC/EN/UL/CSA 62368-1 safety standards and is designed for use at altitudes up to 5000 meters. With high isolation voltage, the modules can support reliable operation in demanding environments.

The products are aimed at applications such as semiconductor manufacturing tools, factory automation and test systems, where stable and compact power solutions are required.
