October 10, 2026 / SemiMedia / — Murata Manufacturing Vietnam Co., Ltd., a manufacturing subsidiary of Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., has completed a new production building in Dong Nai City, Vietnam, to expand manufacturing capacity for coil products used in consumer electronics and automotive applications.

Construction of the new facility began in May 2025 with an investment of approximately 3 billion yen for the building. The production building has a total floor area of 10,576 square meters and a building area of 3,500 square meters.

Murata held a completion ceremony on October 8, 2026. The company will establish production operations at the new facility sequentially and work toward strengthening its supply capability for coil components.

Coil products are widely used in power supply circuits, signal processing and noise suppression applications across consumer electronics and automotive systems. As vehicles become increasingly electrified and electronic systems become more sophisticated, demand for reliable passive components continues to grow.

The new Vietnam production building is part of Murata’s ongoing effort to enhance its global manufacturing network and improve supply chain flexibility. By expanding production capacity in Southeast Asia, Murata aims to provide more stable support for customers requiring long-term supply of passive components.
