Nexperia China says operations stable after parent risk warning

April 30, 2026 /SemiMedia/ — Nexperia China said its operations in China remain stable and independentafter its parent group, Wingtech Technology, faced a risk warning following its latest financial disclosure.

The company said the situation is mainly linked to external factors affecting overseas entities, rather than its core business operations. It added that daily production and financial conditions in China remain stable.

Nexperia China said it continues to operate as an independent entity, with manufacturing and delivery running as usual. It noted that existing orders and customer commitments are not affected.

The company also highlighted ongoing efforts to build a more localized supply chain, including the development of 12-inch wafer capacity and key product lines within China. It expects local sourcing coverage to improve further.

The communication comes as chipmakers increasingly stress supply continuity and operational independence, amid ongoing uncertainty in the global semiconductor supply chain.
