Würth Elektronik eiSos, a leading manufacturer of electronic and electromechanical components in Europe, is now planning to expand the Waldenburg warehouse by its double size of the current space.

The total investment for expansion is EUR 25 million, planning to build a totally 4,000 square meters of storage space and 1,300 square meters of smart and fully automatic shuttle warehouse. As reports, Würth are scheduling a large scale of expansion, the expansion of the Waldenburg logistics center is only one of the whole expansion project.

“Developers worldwide should receive their component samples and design kits within 24 to 48 hours – this is the aspiration of our smart and largely automated logistics center. With the expansion now underway, we will once again have space to grow”, said Oliver Konz, CEO Würth Elektronik eiSos.
