Vishay wins Continental Automotive Group's Supplier of the Year Award

Recently, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. announced that its electronic and discrete device product categories have won the Continental Automotive Group's 2017 Supplier of the Year Award.

According to reports, Continental Automotive Group conducts a comprehensive evaluation of its strategic suppliers every year. In the annual supplier awards program, Continental Automotive Group evaluates suppliers' quality, technology, supply and procurement conditions. The award to Vishay was awarded by Günter Fella, Head of Purchasing, Continental Automotive Group, and Kai-Uwe Brinkmann, Senior Vice President of Electronic Purchasing. Accepting the award on Vishay's behalf were Dr. Gerald Paul, CEO; Peter Williams, Senior Vice President of Strategic Sales; Dave Valletta, Executive Vice President of Global Sales; and Elke Vesting, Vishay’s Strategic Global Account Manager for Continental Automotive Group.

“Continental Automotive Group's Supplier of the Year Award program has earned a reputation throughout the industry for the past 10 years. This award recognizes the supplier's contribution to quality and the ability to respond quickly to changes in demand. We are proud to be able to Get this honor." Dave Valletta said.

Elena Rasmussen, director of discrete device procurement at the Continental Automotive Group, said.
