October 22, 2026 / SemiMedia / — Texas Instruments expects fourth-quarter revenue of $5.8 billion to $6.3 billion, above analysts’ average estimate of $5.73 billion, following continued growth across its industrial, automotive and data center markets. Earnings per share are forecast at $2.45 to $2.79.
Third-quarter revenue rose 28% year over year and 11% sequentially to $6.06 billion, with earnings of $2.62 per share. Chairman, President and CEO Haviv Ilan said growth remained broad across the three markets.
Data center revenue increased approximately 95% from a year earlier and represented about 13% of quarterly sales. TI supplies power management and signal chain chips for servers and networking equipment, giving it growing exposure to AI infrastructure investment.
TI plans to increase manufacturing capacity to meet rising orders. Ilan said 2026 capital expenditure would likely approach the upper end of its $2 billion to $3 billion budget. Strong demand for chipmaking equipment and lengthy delivery times are limiting how quickly the company can add capacity.
Industrial and automotive remain TI’s largest end markets, with its products used across factory equipment, vehicles and other electronic systems. Growth across these markets provides a broader indication of chip demand beyond AI infrastructure.
