March 12, 2026 /SemiMedia/ — NXP Semiconductors has notified partners that it will raise prices on a portion of its product portfolio, with the changes set to take effect on April 1, 2026.

The company said the move reflects higher costs across several areas of the semiconductor supply chain, including raw materials, energy, logistics and supplier inputs. These pressures have continued to affect manufacturing and delivery costs in the industry.

NXP said distributors will receive advance notice of the products affected and updated distributor pricing so they can inform customers ahead of the change. The company will also update its distribution book price according to its regular schedule.

The price adjustment comes as semiconductor suppliers continue to face cost pressure despite mixed demand across parts of the electronics market. Companies with strong positions in automotive and industrial chips have remained active in adjusting pricing and supply strategies.

NXP is one of the key suppliers of automotive and industrial semiconductors, including microcontrollers and connectivity chips widely used in vehicle electronics and embedded systems.
