GUOXIN MICRO’s vice president resigned

GUOXIN MICRO, a China-based integrated circuit chip product and solution provider, has released an announcement regarding the resignation of senior executives of the company. According to the announcement, Ren Qiwei resigned from the position of vice president of the company.

According to the announcement, GUOXIN MICRO's board of directors received a written resignation report of the company's vice president Ren Qiwei on June 21, 2018. Ren Qiwei decided to resign from the company's vice president due to work needs. After Ren Qiwei resigned from the above position, he continued to serve as a director and general manager of Xi’an UniIC Semiconductors Co., Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GUOXIN MICRO.

The data shows that Ren Qiwei was born in June 1969, Chinese nationality, doctor degree of engineering. Since 1992, he has been engaged in memory testing, integrated circuit technology, and silicon-silicon heterojunction devices. In 2001, he joined Philips Semiconductors in the Netherlands and engaged in embedded memory design and R&D. He joined Qimonda (Xi’an) in 2006 as manager and director of the memory design department. In 2009, he restructured and restructured Xi’an SinoChip Semiconductors Co. Ltd. as managing director and served as vice president and senior vice president of Shang Dong SinoChip Semiconductors Co. Ltd. For more than ten years, he has been engaged in technical research, product development, and corporate management in the field of storage. In 2011, he was selected as an expert in the China “Thousand Talent Elite Program”. From November 2015, he served as vice president of GUOXIN MICRO, concurrently served as director and general manager of Xi’an UniIC Semiconductors Co., Ltd., and adjunct professor at the School of Telecommunications, Xi’an Jiaotong University.
