According to TheElec, Yes Power Technix, a SiC power semiconductor IDM company, plans to double the output value of its SiC power devices by early 2022.

The report pointed out that the company currently has a 100mm production line and a 150mm production line, of which the 150mm production line is adding production equipment. After completion, the annual output value will expand from the current 30-35 billion won to about 60 billion won.

According to public information, Yes Power Technix was established in 2017 and is the only company in South Korea that produces SiC power devices. The capital for this expansion comes from SK Group, which invested 26.8 billion won in the company in January this year.
