September 28, 2021

According to supply chain, STMicroelectronics issued a notice to its customers yesterday, stating that it will increase the price of all STMicroelectronics products.

STMicroelectronics pointed out in its notice that the current semiconductor supply shortage continues to severely impact the entire industry, and there is no sign of recovery in the short term.

STMicroelectronics stated that with the recent increase of some key supplies along the supply chain (foundries, raw materials, logistics...), combined with their strong investments in manufacturing, the company will increase the price of all product lines, including existing backlog, during the last Quarter of 2021.

Regarding the extent of the price increase and the specific implementation date, STMicroelectronics did not disclose in the notice.
