Renesas to raise product prices from July as costs increase

March 24, 2026

March 24, 2026 /SemiMedia/ — Renesas Electronics plans to raise prices on its products starting July 1, according to a notice sent to distribution partners.

The move comes as material, transportation and supplier costs continue to rise, putting pressure on existing pricing. The company said it has tried to absorb part of the increase, but higher costs are making current price levels difficult to maintain.

A new distributor price book will take effect on July 1, and open orders as well as existing quotes will be adjusted to the new pricing. Distributors are expected to update their customer pricing accordingly.

Renesas also noted that its current ship-and-debit support program will remain in place until June 30, after which the new pricing structure will fully apply.

Industry sources say cost pressure remains a key issue across the semiconductor supply chain, with some vendors already adjusting prices in response.
