Digi-Key Electronics has announced an exclusive global distribution agreement with Helix Semiconductors. The partnership will enable Helix to provide more than 8.7 million products to more than 800 manufacturers through Digi-Key.

Helix Semiconductors' power management technology achieves high power density and high efficiency in a compact design by eliminating transformers in power conversion applications. Helix has more than 40 patents related to MuxCapacitor® technology for a more compact and efficient power conversion solution.

“Selecting Digi-Key as our global distribution partner is an obvious choice because of their size and reputation in the supply chain,” said Harold A. Blomquist, President and CEO of Helix Semiconductors. “Our goal is to make it easy and fast for our customers to get our parts. Digi-Key plays a key role in our mission. We are excited to work with industry leader Digi-Key.”

“We are pleased to partner with Helix Semiconductors to provide a broad range of high performance products to our global customer base,” said David Stein, Vice President, Global Supplier Management, Digi-Key. “Helix Semiconductors' impressive commitment to R&D continues to deliver innovative products. Designers will benefit from the increased power density of Helix Semiconductor, which enables them to develop power applications without the need for traditional transformers.”
