Mouser Electronics is expanding

July 10, 2019

Mouser Electronics announced that it is expanding its global headquarters and distribution centers to meet its business needs for the next decade.

After the completion of these new buildings, Mouser's 78-acre global headquarters building and large distribution center will have an area of 1 million square feet to accommodate 1 million unique SKU inventory for more than 750 electronic component manufacturers.

“With the rapid growth of technology advances such as the Internet of Things, electric vehicles, artificial intelligence, robotics and 5G, we do find ourselves in a very strong and fortunate position,” explains Mouser and CEO Glenn Smith. “As customer demand increases, we are planning future growth.”

In 2018, Mouser’s sales reached $1.9 billion, and the company is expected to exceed this figure this year. All of this happens when Mouser expands its full-time global workforce to more than 2,400 and will provide local customer service in four new locations around the world: Brazil, Poland, Vietnam and the Philippines.
