Micron announced the world's first ultra-large capacity microSD flash card at the MWC on the 25th - Micron c200 series 1TB microSDXC UHS-I. The product is a high-performance, removable storage solution that delivers up to 1TB of storage capacity and is expected to be available in the second quarter of this year.

With a read speed of up to 100 MB per second and a write speed of up to 95 MB per second, this flash card meets UHS-I speed grade 3 (U3) and film speed grade V30 standards.

Aravind Ramamoorthy, senior director of NAND solutions at Micron's Embedded Products Group, said that by developing a CuA (CMOS under the Array) architecture and 96-layer QLC technology, the company is a leader in 3D NAND, and the new c200 series 1TB microSD flash card will make it easier for users to collect, share, store and enjoy more content.
