SemiMediaEdit
December 1, 2017

After Samsung, Murata finally announces to build a new factory in Okayama-ken for fullfilling the MLCC global demands, seems the market demands are much beyond Murata's expectation, actually it had not been long since they trasfered the market direction to automotive level products, now the market lead them back.

The MLCC shortage and price hikes still happening, but currently some of the stock vendor starts to release stock and make clearance sale(with current price), it is said that the price will drops, in rapid way, we are not sure if it is true, but something definately on the way, let's see in December.
