America II announces acquisition of Advanced MP

Yesterday, the global electronic component distributor America II announced that it has acquired Advanced MP Technology, Inc., and the acquisition has taken effect on September 14, 2018.

Founded in 1978, Advanced MP is a global distributor of electronic components with offices throughout the world.

Here are some of the announcements posted by America II:

This acquisition represents one of the largest ever in our space and unites two premier companies into a global distribution powerhouse. By joining forces with Advanced MP, we significantly strengthen and expand our global distribution platform enhancing our sales, supply chain solutions and logistics capabilities and services to be better serve our customers and accelerate growth.

For now, America II and Advanced MP will continue to operate as separate companies. Over the coming months, our two leadership teams will be working closely together to plan for and implement the integration of our businesses.

We are thrilled to welcome Advanced MP and their talented and highly motivated employees to the America II family. We believe this combination of two exceptional companies will lead to significant opportunities for growth and a much greater market presence.
