Yesterday, the global electronic component distributor America II announced that it has acquired Advanced MP Technology, Inc., and the acquisition has taken effect on September 14, 2018.

Founded in 1978, Advanced MP is a global distributor of electronic components with offices throughout the world.

By joining forces with Advanced MP, we significantly strengthen and expand our global distribution platform enhancing our sales, supply chain solutions and logistics capabilities and services to be better serve our customers and accelerate growth.

For now, America II and Advanced MP will continue to operate as separate companies. Over the coming months, our two leadership teams will be working closely together to plan for and implement the integration of our businesses.
