July 15, 2025 /Semimedia/ — Texas Instruments (TI) has received the “Operational Excellence” award at the Volkswagen Group Award 2025, held in Wolfsburg, Germany. The award recognizes TI’s resilient automotive semiconductor supply strategy and continued investment in production capabilities.

As modern vehicles increasingly rely on thousands of semiconductors for safety, powertrain, and infotainment systems, Volkswagen Group emphasized the need for dependable chip supply to support the rollout of over 30 new vehicle models across regions and brands in 2025. TI’s automotive-grade analog and embedded solutions play a vital role in supporting next-generation automotive platforms.

“TI’s strong technology foundation, comprehensive automotive portfolio and long-term supply stability are enabling smarter, safer automotive systems,” said Stefan Bruder, president of Texas Instruments Europe. “We’re honored to collaborate with Volkswagen Group to support future vehicle innovation.”

TI supplies Volkswagen Group with a wide range of analog and embedded processing components, including microcontrollers, processors, power management ICs, interface devices, and DLP® digital micromirror technology, helping advance the transformation of the automotive industry.
