Samsung Electronics appoints chief innovation officer to formulate five-year vision for the company

Samsung Electronics recently appointed David Eun, president of Samsung NEXT, its innovation division, as its chief innovation officer, who will develop a five-year and longer-term vision for Samsung Electronics.

David Eun graduated from Harvard University and worked for a while at Google. He led Google’s acquisition of YouTube.

While serving as chief innovation officer, David Ang will continue to assume his current responsibilities. He said in an interview published on the official website of Samsung NEXT that he will develop a five-year and more long-term development vision for Samsung Electronics. He also said that it will deepen the relationship and interaction between Samsung and its leaders and other companies, engineering institutions and organizations.
