According to reports, Solidigm, a NAND flash memory subsidiary of SK Hynix, will invest more than US$100 million to build a semiconductor R&D center in California, USA.

The report pointed out that Solidigm is an independent subsidiary of SK Hynix in the United States. It was established in December last year and was reorganized from the Intel flash memory business acquired by SK Hynix.

The R&D center covers an area of about 20,000 square meters, and the company expects to operate in the first quarter of 2023, creating 1,900 jobs.
