Avnet Asia Pacific is expanding its “Testing as a Service” (TAAS) to Southeast Asian customers to help accelerate the design cycle and speed time-to-market. TAAS combines Avnet's engineering expertise and design chain with Avnet's extensive network of specialized laboratory and test facilities in key Asian markets to provide a wide range of testing services for electronic design, providing customers with additional value. Previously the service was only available in India.

Avnet's expansion of TAAS to more countries also means additional testing capabilities for a variety of product design technologies including: electromagnetic interference (EMI), electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), energy metering, power, RF performance, solar and wireless Charging.

Avnet's TAAS further accelerates the design cycle by reducing the number of design iterations required. Customers can reduce costs through TAAS pay-per-use models and gain access to Avnet's existing technology experts and engineers for professional design consulting and test report evaluation.

TAAS enhances the customer's prototyping experience by working with them early in the product lifecycle, enabling them to enjoy cost-effective, confidential and comprehensive testing processes.

For more information on this service, please refer to the Avnet website: https://www.avnet.com/wps/portal/apac/solutions/design/design-and-testing/taas/
