Since the U.S. Department of Commerce issued a prohibition against the export of ZTE, ZTE has been in an extreme tight situation and held a press conference on the 20th. At the meeting, ZTE said that the United States may cause ZTE to enter a state of shock. It is extremely unfair to ZTE and indicates that it cannot accept the ban.  Although ZTE’s attitude was tough, the US Department of Commerce stated that the ban was implemented immediately and there was no room for negotiation.

In the prohibition clauses, including the prohibition of all US companies selling all products to ZTE, which also includes electronic components. After the ban, the US semiconductor giant Intel said it would strictly enforce the ban. As a result, many electronic component manufacturers such as Qualcomm, TI, Maxim, and ON Semi will not be able to supply chips for ZTE.

Today, according to industry sources, due to the Taiwan government's ban, MediaTek will not be able to sell chips to ZTE in the future. ZTE’s situation seems gets tougher.
