Intel announces to merge Mobileye with total price tag 15.3 billion USD, Mobileye is not a very well-known company like Texas Instruments and STMicroelectronics, because it is a company which only focus on development of image processor chip for automotive.

EyeQ is one of the processor developed by Mobileye and now been use widely among the global car makers, including BMW, GM, Volvo…etc. During January of 2017, Mobileye cooperated with BMW and Intel for a driverless car project and estimated to launch the driverless car for consumer market in 2021.
