June 16, 2025 /SemiMedia/ — Diodes Incorporated has launched the PI3EQX64904, a 64GT/s PAM4 linear ReDriver that supports PCI Express® 6.0 signaling and maintains backward compatibility with PCIe 5.0, 4.0, and 3.0 protocols. Designed for demanding data-intensive environments, the device addresses connectivity needs in AI data centers, high-performance computing clusters, and 5G infrastructure.

The PI3EQX64904 features four differential channels and incorporates tunable equalization stages to enhance PAM4 signal fidelity at high speeds. Its linear compensation corrects for channel losses and mitigates intersymbol interference, ensuring robust signal quality and low bit error rates, even at 64GT/s.

Targeting applications where signal extension, low latency, and minimal power consumption are critical, the device achieves less than 5mW power draw in PCIe L1.2 deep standby mode, complying with Microsoft’s Modern Standby requirements. It also delivers high linearity and ultra-low jitter, making it suitable for performance-sensitive designs.

Operating at 3.3V ±0.3V, the ReDriver supports industrial temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C. It comes in a compact 31-pin W-LGA-31L package (6.1mm × 2.7mm) and is priced at $5.00 in 3,000-piece quantities.
