March 16, 2026

March 16, 2026 /SemiMedia/ — Alpha and Omega Semiconductor, a maker of power semiconductor devices such as MOSFETs and power ICs, said it will raise prices on some of its products starting April 1 as higher manufacturing costs continue to affect the semiconductor industry.

The company said costs related to raw materials, energy, logistics and infrastructure have been rising, making price adjustments necessary after a long period of stable pricing.

Demand for power semiconductors remains strong, and supply is tight in some product segments. The company said it is investing in additional capacity and working to strengthen its supply chain to support future demand.

According to the notice, the price increase will mainly apply to products directly affected by higher production costs and ongoing capacity investment.
