According to a recent survey by DRAMeXchange, under the background of the peak season and the increase in customer demand for advance stocking, the overall global NAND flash memory shipments increased by nearly 15% in the third quarter of this year, and the overall quarterly industry revenue increased by 10.2% to approximately $ 11.9 billion .

Specifically, Samsung Electronics has always been superior in high-capacity products such as servers and mobile devices. With the launch of Intel ’s new platform and flagship smartphones of mobile phone manufacturers in the second half of the year, Samsung's NAND flash memory shipments in the third quarter increased by more than 10% compared with the second quarter, with revenue reaching US $ 3.987 billion, a quarterly increase of 5.9%, and the average unit price fell within about 5%.

SK Hynix's shipments in the third quarter decreased by 1% compared with the previous quarter, but as the price of NAND flash memory gradually stabilized, its average unit price increased by 4% compared with the previous quarter, and overall NAND flash memory revenue reached US $ 1.146 billion, a quarterly increase of 3.5%.

Kioxia's NAND flash memory shipments increased by more than 20% from the previous quarter, driven by rising demand in the peak season and demand from Apple's new products. However, due to the average sales unit price falling by approximately 5%, the overall revenue was US $ 2.227 billion, a quarterly increase of only 14.3%.
