Exertis to become sole Texas Instruments distributor in UK

Texas Instruments has appointed Exertis Supplies as sole distribution partner in the UK for its Education and Scientific calculators. Texas Instruments and Exertis recognise the importance of the education market and the need for a high-quality and financially secure distributor to help expand and grow sales in a major European market, and have been working closely in the French market. As such, it was a natural partnership for the UK.

Marcel de Groot, sales manager for Texas Instruments, said: “Texas Instruments is a well-known and trusted brand in the UK education market. The recent changes in government policy on the use of graphing and scientific calculators in schools and colleges present a great opportunity for school suppliers and retailers to add Texas Instruments to their range and take advantage of this new market opportunity. We are confident that Exertis Supplies’ approach in working closely with school dealers and retailers will result in growing the adoption of our latest generation of calculator products by their customers.”

Tim Holmes, commercial manager office products at Exertis Supplies, added: “It’s great to be working with an iconic brand such as Texas Instruments. Their brand closely matches our ethos of supporting high quality branded manufacturers to deliver good value to the reseller community and education market. Our ‘keep it simple’ approach allows dealers to be competitive in the marketplace and deliver great value to the consumer.”
