A new IC production base is under construction in Wuxi, China

Recently, Huahong Group held a ceremony in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, for the smooth launch of the first lithography machine for its 12-inch IC production line project. With the first batch of lithography machines moved in, Huahong's 7th plant will smoothly enter the process equipment installation and commissioning stage. According to reports, the Huahong 7th plant is expected to be trial production in September and mass production in December.

It is reported that Huahong Group's total investment in semiconductor projects in Wuxi is 10 billion US dollars, of which the first phase investment is 2.5 billion US dollars. It will build a 12-inch special integrated circuit production line with a monthly capacity of 40,000 pieces, supporting emerging fields such as 5G and the Internet of Things. Applications. After the implementation of the first phase of the project, the construction of the second production line will be launched.

In addition, according to local media reports, after the first phase of the Huahong Group Wuxi project is put into production, the second phase of the plant and the third phase of the plant will be built in due course, and the technical level of production will also increase. After the completion of the third phase, Huahong will have three 12-inch integrated circuit production lines in Wuxi, and its production capacity is expected to reach nearly 200,000 pieces per month.
