Recently, Nichicon, a Japanese passive component manufacturer, issued a price increase announcement to adjust the price of its aluminum electrolytic capacitor products. The reason for the price increase is the increase in raw materials cost. According to the announcement, Nichicon will increase the price of its Snap-in & Screw Type and Conductive Polymer Capacitor by 7%, and Radial Lead Type and Chip Type by 10%. The new price will take effect from the new order on August 1.
