onsemi to raise prices on select products from April 1

March 17, 2026 /SemiMedia/ — onsemi said in a notice to customers that it will increase prices on a limited range of products starting April 1, 2026, as higher input and manufacturing costs continue to affect the semiconductor sector.

The company said the move comes as costs for raw materials, energy and infrastructure remain elevated. At the same time, demand linked to power devices, industrial systems and data centers has stayed strong in recent months.

To support supply and product quality, onsemi has been putting more resources into manufacturing capacity and operations. The company noted that internal cost controls have helped, but are no longer enough to offset the overall rise in expenses.

The new pricing will apply to orders placed from April 1 onward, as well as backlog scheduled for delivery after that date. Product details and pricing changes will be handled through customer representatives.

Across the industry, similar pricing actions have emerged as chipmakers respond to cost pressure while demand in power and industrial segments continues to recover.
