February 10, 2026 /SemiMedia/ — Infineon Technologies said it has agreed to acquire ams OSRAM’s non-optical analog and mixed-signal sensor business for €570 million, as the German chipmaker looks to deepen its footprint in automotive and industrial semiconductors.

The deal, structured as a fabless asset transaction, includes sensor product lines, R&D capabilities, intellectual property, and testing facilities. Infineon said the business is expected to generate around €230 million in revenue in 2026.

About 230 employees with engineering and business management experience will join Infineon as part of the acquisition. The two companies have also signed a multi-year supply agreement to support customers during the transition.

Infineon said the added portfolio will strengthen its analog and sensor platform and help expand system-level offerings across automotive, industrial and healthcare applications. The company also noted that the technology could support emerging areas such as humanoid robotics.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions, with completion expected in the second quarter of 2026. Infineon plans to finance the acquisition through new debt.
