February 5, 2026 /SemiMedia/ — Vishay Intertechnology has introduced four compact power inductors — IHLL-0806AZ-1Z, IHLL-1210AB-1Z, IHLP-0806AB-5A and IHLP-1210ABEZ-5A — targeting AI servers, DC/DC converters and automotive electronics.

The parts come in 0806 and 1210 packages and are designed to deliver similar electrical performance in smaller board space, helping designers increase power density in server and vehicle platforms.

The IHLL commercial series offers inductance values from 0.24 µH to 4.70 µH with typical DCR as low as 6.6 mΩ, while the automotive-grade IHLP devices reach typical DCR down to 15 mΩ. All four support operating temperatures of up to 165°C, making them suitable for high-load environments.

Vishay said the inductors use a powdered iron structure that fully encloses the windings, reducing magnetic interference with nearby components and maintaining stable operation under high current. The IHLP parts feature side-plated terminals for stronger solder joints in applications exposed to vibration and mechanical stress.

The automotive-qualified IHLP-0806AB-5A and IHLP-1210ABEZ-5A are aimed at ADAS, infotainment, braking systems and sensor modules. The IHLL-0806AZ-1Z and IHLL-1210AB-1Z target CPU power rails, SSD modules, data networking equipment and industrial automation.

As AI servers and vehicle electronics continue to push power density higher, compact inductors with strong thermal performance are becoming a key part of modern system design, industry sources said.

Vishay added that samples and production volumes are now available, with typical lead times of about 10 weeks.
