January 2, 2026

January 2, 2026 /SemiMedia/ — ROHM Semiconductor has announced that starting March 1, 2026, it will implement price increases on select semiconductor products. This decision comes in response to the rising costs of raw materials that have been impacting production since 2023. Although ROHM has taken steps to optimize production management and improve efficiency to alleviate some of the pressure, the overall cost burden remains significant.

The company emphasized that the price adjustments are necessary to continue providing high-quality products and ensuring long-term supply capabilities. Specific details on the products affected and the exact price increases will be outlined in an official announcement to be released in March 2026.

ROHM acknowledged that these adjustments may have an impact on certain customers, but reassured that the company is committed to enhancing product quality and advancing its research and development efforts. The company aims to work closely with its customers to navigate the challenges of the evolving market landscape.

ROHM expressed gratitude for its customers’ continued support and understanding, affirming that it will continue to provide competitive solutions and collaborate in addressing future market challenges.
