Semtech issues price increase notice

SemiMediaEdit
March 14, 2022

According to supply chain, Semtech recently sent a price increase notice to its customers, saying that it will start raising the price of some products on March 14.

Semtech said in the notice that semiconductor manufacturing continues to see supply constraints and increase in cost associated with raw materials at suppliers. They have chosen to pass those costs on to Semtech and Semtech have absorbed as much of that as possible, but can no longer sustain the current pricing.

As a result, Semtech will increase the price of all new TVS orders after March 14, 2022.
