Recently, Nexperia China has sent a notice to its customers regarding price adjustments and changes in order execution rules.

Nexperia stated in the notice that the current woes of the semiconductor market are steadily extending deep into their supply chain where many of their suppliers and sub-suppliers are facing increasing difficulties meeting their demand and/or are confronting them with significant price increases.

Nexperia stated that the above situation makes it difficult for Nexperia to plan production/allocation and justify the right investment. Therefore, Nexperia decided to take the following response.

  • Nexperia will be adapting their price levels accordingly per jun 7th
  • Nexperia will be sending the detailed price files by Thursday the 27th at latest
  • Nexperia ask customers to treat the orderbook as NCNR as per Jun 7th (Non-cancelable/non-reschedulable) for 7 months rolling

According to supply chain sources, the shortage of Nexperia's products is not serious in the supply chain, but the stock price has been on an upward trend.
