Vishay Intertechnology announces the introduction of the smallest automotive grade IHLP® low profile, high current inductor to date. The Vishay Dale IHLP-1212AZ-A1 and IHLP-1212AB-A1 are available in a 3.3 mm x 3.3 mm 1212 case size to save space in next-generation ADAS and sensor applications with an operating temperature of + 125 ° C and a very low profile down to 1.0 mm, while IHLP-1212AB-5A has an operating temperature of up to +155 ° C and a profile of 1.2 mm.

These AEC-Q200 compliant devices are optimized for energy storage in DC/DC converters up to 5 MHz. They also provide excellent noise attenuation in high current filtering applications. Due to its high operating temperature, it will be ideal for filtering and DC/DC conversion in ADAS, sensors and entertainment/navigation systems, and for noise suppression in medium current filter applications.

IHLP-1212AZ-A1, IHLP-1212AB-A1 and IHLP-1212AB-5A use a 100% lead-free (Pb) shielded composite structure to reduces buzz into ultra-low levels, with high thermal shock resistance, moisture resistance and Mechanical shock, handling high transient current spikes without saturation. These devices are RoHS compliant and halogen free, Vishay Green.

Currently, the new inductors are in volume production with a lead time of 10 weeks. For more information on these devices, please visit Vishay's website: www.vishay.com
