Apr. 27, 2023 /SemiMedia/ -- According to the revenue ranking released by TrendForce, the top five IC design companies in the world in the fourth quarter of 2022 are Qualcomm, Broadcom, Nvidia, AMD, and MediaTek.

TrendForce pointed out that in addition to the weak overall consumption of consumer electronics, unfavorable factors such as the lockdown in mainland China, corporate IT spending, and slowing demand from cloud service providers at that time all affected the total revenue performance of the top ten IC design companies in the fourth quarter of 2022 , The quarterly decline widened to 9.2%, about $33.96 billion.

Regarding the performance in the first quarter of this year, TrendForce pointed out that due to the continuous correction of supply chain inventory and the impact of the traditional consumption off-season, demand is still weak. It is expected that the revenue of the top ten IC design companies will continue to decline in the first quarter of this year, but the quarterly decline will be slightly restrained.
