TI to raise chip prices from April, supply chain says

March 6, 2026 /SemiMedia/ — Texas Instruments may increase prices for some semiconductor products starting April 1, according to people in the electronic components supply chain.

Sources said the new prices have already been set in the company’s internal pricing system. The changes are expected to apply to both direct customers and companies that buy through distribution channels.

The adjustment could affect parts of TI’s analog and embedded product lines. Some distributors said the price increase could range from about 15% to 85%, depending on the device and product family.

People familiar with the matter also said TI’s sales team has started preparing notices for some distributor customers. Emails with updated cost information may be sent in early March.

Industry participants note that demand from AI servers, electric vehicles and industrial equipment continues to support the market for analog and power management chips. Any price change from a large supplier such as TI could influence short-term pricing in the distribution and spot markets.
