October 20, 2026 / SemiMedia / — Omron has agreed to acquire U.S. industrial computer maker OnLogic and its parent company, Interlogic, at an enterprise value of $675 million. The acquisition will support the Japanese company’s physical AI capabilities within its industrial automation business.
OnLogic develops, manufactures and sells industrial computers, including rugged edge computing platforms. Omron plans to combine these capabilities with its sensing, high-precision control and robotics technologies to connect factory data processing and AI applications more closely with real-time automation. The deal will also expand its U.S. customer base.
Following completion, Interlogic will become a wholly owned Omron subsidiary. OnLogic will continue operating independently, retaining its brand, management team and direct sales model, with its headquarters remaining in Vermont.
The acquisition is expected to close around January 2027, subject to regulatory approval.
