Microchip successfully merges Microsemi

As reported, the acquisition between Microchip and Microsemi been finalized, according to the contract, Microchip will merge Microsemi with price of 78.78$ each share, the total acquisition cost is 8.35 billion USD.

It is known, the telecommunication, aerospace and defence has occupy 60% of the total Microsemi business, through the acquisition, Microchip’s customer market value will be increased from 18 billion to 50 billion, furthermore, Microchip could expand their customer range by this acquisition for their original product line.
