November 06, 2025 /SemiMedia/ — Infineon Technologies has introduced new MOTIX 32-bit motor control SoCs for small and medium automotive motors. The new TLE994x and TLE995x devices are designed for a wide range of EV cooling functions, pumps and fans in thermal management, as well as interior comfort functions including seats and windows.

The TLE995x three-phase solution targets BLDC motors used in thermal systems, while the two-phase TLE994x addresses BDC applications. Both integrate diagnostics, embedded power supply, LIN communication and a gate driver in a single die. The devices feature an Arm Cortex-M23 running up to 40 MHz, and support Field-Oriented Control for higher efficiency. All products meet ISO 26262 ASIL B and include Arm TrustZone.

Infineon is positioning the TLE994x/5x as the next generation of its MOTIX family, built on the scalable TLE99xx platform, enabling reuse of hardware and software across future variants. The company is also releasing an evaluation ecosystem that includes boards, simulation tools and software packages, plus a 150-W water pump reference design for accelerated evaluation.

Infineon said the series is now in production. More information please visit www.infineon.com/TLE994x and www.infineon.com/TLE995x.
