Infineon Technologies recently opened its new headquarters in Greater China in Shanghai. The new headquarters will serve as a regional business hub to help the company's business development in Greater China and strengthen local customer support.

The new headquarters is located in AI Island, Zhangjiang, Shanghai, which is China's first artificial intelligence innovation zone. As Infineon and leading companies such as IBM and Microsoft settle in, AI Island will develop into a vibrant technology industry gathering place.

Infineon has maintained steady growth since it entered the Chinese mainland market in 1995. With approximately 2,000 employees in China, Infineon Greater China has become an important driving force for Infineon's global business development. The new Greater China headquarters provides a broader development space and richer industry resources that will help companies accelerate innovation and drive the company's future.

Dr. Helmut Gassel, Global Chief Marketing Officer of Infineon Technologies, said: "The Chinese market is an important driving force for our global business. The new headquarters will provide Infineon Greater China with a better industry environment and resources, promote digital transformation of the enterprise, and make life more convenient, safe and environmentally friendly."
