According to reports, Wall Street recently disclosed a regulatory document that AMD revised its production capacity supply agreement with GlobalFoundries.

The report stated that the two companies negotiated and finalized the price from 2022 to 2024 and a new annual wafer purchase target. AMD estimates that they will purchase approximately US$16 billion in wafers between 2022 and 2024, and the company will pay advance payments for 2022 and 2023.

The report also pointed out that the revised agreement cancels all previous exclusivity commitments, which gives AMD full flexibility to transfer any products produced on any process node to other foundries.
