December 25, 2018

ADATA Technology announced the establishment of the Automotive Electronics Business Center on the 24th. The technology and R&D team of the Automotive Electronics Business Center will accelerate the development of the new automotive electronics project and verification process to achieve a new experience of safer, more convenient, energy-saving and comfortable driving.

Simon Chen, chairman of ADATA, said that with the rapid development of technology, new requirements such as ADAS, communication, and infotainment have gradually become the basic equipment for new cars, and the market for in-vehicle electronics is also developing at a high speed. The car's electronic system currently accounts for about 40% of the total car cost, and is expected to reach 50% by 2030. The world's top three ECU suppliers are Bosch, Continental, and Denso. The annual ECU output value is as high as hundreds of billions of euros.

After a long period of research and development and sample verification, ADATA's vehicle storage devices and human-machine interface devices have successfully entered the ranks of qualified suppliers of automobile manufacturers in the United States, Japan and South Korea. The establishment of the Automotive Electronics Business Center will help ADATA quickly meet the customization needs of emerging markets and different customers, provide customers with more diverse services, and lay a solid foundation for ATADA's strategy of integrating memory, automotive electronics and vehicle networking.
