AD issues price increase notice

SemiMediaEdit
August 30, 2022

According to the supply chain, Analog Devices recently issued a price increase notice, saying that it will increase the price of all its products.

AD said in the price increase notice that its supply chain has been under strain over the past year, including labor, materials and wafer fabrication costs. AD try to minimize price increases, thereby limiting the impact on customers. However, they are now at a point where they have to pass on these additional costs.

AD emphasized that the price hike is not using this environment to expand margins, but to maintain the financial gross margin model.

AD said in the notice that these price increases will begin to be applied to all shipments on or after September 25, 2022. Includes new orders and existing booking needs.
