Micron holds 55% share of global automotive semiconductor memory market, reports The Information Network

According to The Information Network, a semiconductor analyst firm, Micron's total share of the global automotive memory market was 55.0% in 2021, up slightly from 53.9% in 2020.

The report pointed out that Micron's share of the $51.6 billion global automotive semiconductor market was 3.9%, up 0.5% from 3.4% in 2020. Its share of the $46.8 billion global consumer semiconductor market in 2021 was 2.5%, down slightly from 2.8% in 2020. Its share of the $88.1 billion global smartphone semiconductor market in 2021 was 8.2%, down from 10.3% in 2020.

The report also noted that Micron's automotive share accounted for 7% of its total revenue. In addition, NXP's automotive semiconductor revenue accounted for 47% of the company's total share, while Infineon's automotive semiconductor revenue accounted for 46% of the company's revenue.
