According to supply chain, STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific issued a price increase notice to its customers yesterday, stating that it will increase the price of all products starting June 1.

The notice mentioned that the current semiconductor shortage crisis has severely affected the entire industry as well as the economy and society. The demand for semiconductors has reached unprecedented heights.

ST said that the cost of materials has risen further, and many material suppliers are struggling to meet their needs, resulting in increased costs and more aggressive commercial terms.

In view of the above reasons, ST said it will increase prices for all its product lines from June 1.

The following is the original text of the notice.
