According to reports, in an interview with the media last week, the foundry UMC pointed out that the price of 200mm wafers this year has been confirmed, but the prices of urgent orders and new orders will increase.

Regarding the price in 2021, the report said that UMC's 200mm wafer prices will rise, but the 300mm price will remain stable.

As for inventory, UMC pointed out that the current inventory for IC design companies is maintained at a higher than seasonal level, but it is uncertain whether this will become the new normal.
