April 23, 2018

Recently, Hefei Xin Ping Industry Investment Fund (Limited Partnership) has publicly transferred 70% of the investment share of Nexperia Semiconductor and decided on April 22, 2018 that the transferee was Hefei Zhong wen Jin tai Semiconductor Investment Co., Ltd. The amount of the deal was 1.85 billion US dollars.

It is understood that Hefei Zhong wen Jin tai Semiconductor Investment Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wingtec, the leading enterprise in the global smart phone ODM factory. On March 27, Wingtec increased the capital of the subsidiary, and through capital operation, Wingtec will become the largest shareholder of Nexperia.

Through these operations of Wingtec, it is not difficult to see its determination to enter the semiconductor industry.
