Skyworks' Mexico factory has reopened yesterday

April 29, 2020

According to media reports, the Skyworks factory in Mexico has passed the local government's epidemic prevention inspection, and the production line has resumed normal operations on April 28th, local time.

According to previous reports, due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in Mexico, Skyworks temporarily closed its factory in Mexicali from April 10 in response to the local government's epidemic prevention policy.

Last week, industry insiders pointed out that if the Skyworks factory cannot resume production in early May, it will have a negative impact on the global 5G mobile phone supply chain. However, from the current situation, due to the short shutdown time, it may not affect the supply chain.
