Recently, SEMI announced the latest North American semiconductor equipment shipment report. The report pointed out that North American semiconductor equipment manufacturers shipped 2.37 billion US dollars in February this year, a slight increase of 1.2% from 2.34 billion US dollars in January, and an increase of 26.2% compared to 1.88 billion US dollars in the same period last year.

Ajit Manocha, President and CEO of SEMI, stated that the sales of North American semiconductor equipment suppliers in February continued the strong growth since December 2019. Although the current international environment is not optimistic, monthly orders this year are still higher than in 2019.

According to previous estimates by Ajit Manocha, the global semiconductor equipment market this year will recover from the weakness of 2019.
